Convergence Theory

Matthew 7:13-14 "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

You may have heard it said that all roads (religions) lead to the same place, well, they're almost right.  All roads except for one do lead to the same place--destruction.  But there is only one, specific narrow way which leads to life and that is the one which goes through Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

So in reality, there really are only TWO so called "religions:"

1)  The Truth revealed through scripture by the eternal, all knowing, omnipresent, all powerful God Himself, who created all things INCLUDING the one who started the second so called "religion" --Lucifer.

2)  The Lie perpetrated by Lucifer, a created being (created by God) who decided that he wanted to be like God.

This is the reason why everything appears to be converging because none of it was ever separate in the first place!   It all has been cleverly disguised in many different, seemingly separate forms.  The revelation that they are all part of the same thing "The Lie" will culminate in the final battle between The Truth and The Lie as described in scripture.

The foundation of The Lie was declared by the serpent in Genesis 3:5 "For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."

And in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 the coming world leader (usually referred to as the antichrist) will exalt himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God, sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

It is significant that he does this to show himself that he is God.  He doesn't do it to prove this to others, he does it to prove it to himself. If you've even done a cursory examination of any religious practice which uses Mystical Meditation, you will see that this is the goal of Mystical Meditation, to make the discovery that you are God, but you have just forgotten that you were.

New "Age" Spirituality, and all of the mystical versions of religions such as Jewish Kabbalah and Islamic Sufism practice Mystical Meditation.  Hinduism uses Mystical Meditation especially as part of the various forms of Yoga.  Contemplative prayer practiced by an alarming number of those who call themselves Christians is Mystical Mediation and it is also strongly encouraged by the Emergent Church.  Praying the Rosary is a form of Mystical Meditation, the same phrases are repeated over and over again for long periods of time which results in the same Altered State of Consciousness when done correctly and by repeating it for at least ten minutes at a time.

It would seem logical to think that New "Age" Spirituality, Ecumenism, Mystical Meditation, Alien Abductions, Hauntings, Demonic Possession and things that happen during Near Death Experiences/Out of Body Experiences have nothing to do with each other.  However, they all come from the same source, they all teach the same things, and they all result in the same belief system which is diametrically opposed to the teaching of scripture.
